Yorkshire Forward is the Region’s Development Agency, responsible for improving the Yorkshire and Humber economy.

The region is home to over 5 million people, and 270,000 businesses contribute to an economy that is worth in excess of £80 billion.

We are working to improve the region’s economy by helping people to get jobs, developing our towns and cities and assisting businesses in finding new markets.

In 2006-7 we created or safeguarded 22,254 jobs, assisted 60,005 people in skills, created 1,067 businesses and attracted £467m in investment
