Our office is situated centrally in Cheltenham, opposite Cheltenham Town Hall.

Getting there from the train stationBy taxi
Taxi’s can normally be found on your left as you exit the Train Station into the Car Park. You should expect to pay around £6.

By bus
The D bus departs from the car park of the train station every 10-12 minutes. You should show your rail ticket to the driver and ask for a Rail Bus Ticket. This will cost you £1 for a return ticket. Upon departing the station, the bus will turn left then right at the mini roundabout, then right at the traffic lights after Travis Perkins Building Supplies. The bus will then continue through another set of lights and start to travel down a small hill towards another set of lights. You should press the bell as it moves down this hill. The bus stop is shortly after the traffic lights. Turn right on departing the bus and cross over at the lights and head towards the cafes directly opposite. Walk with the cafes on your right and outside Prezzo are another set of lights with all traffic approaching from your right. Cross over these lights towards LK Bennett Shoe Shop. Once across the road turn right and then turn left at the lights by LK Bennett Shoe Shop. Forum for the Future is on the row of the buildings on your left as you walk up the road.

Walking
The Cheltenham office is approximately a 20-minute walk from the train station. Leave the Station via the car park and onto the main road. Opposite the entrance is an entrance to the public footpath, which will be signposted Honeybourne Line. Follow this footpath; you will come to a fork in the path where the right hand path will take you under a bridge. Follow this path and you will pass Waitrose on your left and upon continuing you will reach a small play area on your left with a stream fenced off to your right. Take the small path to your right, which will take you along a lane with The George Hotel car park on your right. At the end of this road, turn right towards the traffic lights and cross the road. Turn left at the traffic lights and walk towards another set of lights. At these lights, cross over the lights and head towards the cafes directly opposite. Walk with the cafes on your right and outside Prezzo are another set of lights with all traffic approaching from your right. Cross over these lights towards LK Bennett Shoe Shop. Once across the road turn right and then turn left at the lights by LK Bennett Shoe Shop. Forum for the Future is on the row of the buildings on your left as you walk up the road.

Travelling to our office by car

From the M5, Junction 11
Please consider using Cheltenham's park & ride facilities (see heading & details below). Otherwise -

  • Join the Golden Valley bypass, following signs for Cheltenham
  • At the next roundabout go straight across on A40 and follow town centre signs
  • Pass GCHQ on left on approach to next roundabout and take second exit, still on A40
  • At next traffic lights go straight over into Lansdown Road and continue towards the town centre
  • Straight across next roundabout continuing on Lansdown Road
  • At the small roundabout at Montpellier, turn right into Montpellier Terrace. Continue and turn left onto Bath Road. Follow Bath Road until the one-way system takes you left onto Oriel Road.
  • Imperial Terrace is on the right after the traffic lights.
  • If you have reserved the Forum parking space turn right after the lights, then immediate left into Imperial Lane. The parking space is at the back of the building. After turning into Imperial Lane, there is a car park on your right, then a gate entrance to the flats. The parking space is about 30 metres along Imperial Lane, opposite the entrance to the flats, there is a sign stating that it is Forum for the Future on the back wall.
  • Alternatively there are parking meters on the road opposite and an NCP car park less than 5 minutes walk away.

From the A417 Cirencester

  • At the roundabout next to the Air Balloon Pub, take the right hand turn towards Cheltenham (east) and go immediately first left, signposted Leckhampton (B4070)
  • Continue down into Cheltenham where you will come to a roundabout next to a small garden centre on the right hand side. Take the Bath Road off the roundabout (the second available exit), and follow it as far as you can, where the one-way system takes you left onto Oriel Road.
  • Imperial Terrace is on the right after the traffic lights.
  • If you have reserved the Forum parking space turn right after the lights, then immediate left into Imperial Lane. The parking space is at the back of the building. After turning into Imperial Lane, there is a car park on your right, then a gate entrance to the flats. The parking space is about 30 metres along Imperial Lane, opposite the entrance to the flats, there is a sign stating that it is Forum for the Future on the back wall.
  • Alternatively there are parking meters on the road opposite and an NCP car park less than 5 minutes walk away.

Office parking space
There is one parking space and this must be reserved in advance. This is situated at the back of the building, accessible from Imperial Lane, which is a one-way street. The one-way system brings you west along Oriel Road, where there are traffic lights at the junction with Trafalgar Street. At these traffic lights turn right and immediately left into Imperial Lane. The parking space is about 30 metres along Imperial Lane, opposite the entrance to the flats. There is a sign on the wall indicating that this is a Forum parking space. Please ask the person you are meeting to reserve the parking space for you.

Cheltenham Park and Ride

Cheltenham has two park and ride sites located on the north and west routes into the town. The best one to use if driving is Arle Court off Junction 11 of the M5:

Arle Court (Number 511)
The car park is signposted from the M5 at Junction 11 and is located at Arle Court, and the service runs every 10 minutes. Upon leaving the M5 at Junction 11 towards Cheltenham, the road will become a dual carriageway. To access the park and ride, it is necessary to be in the far right lane at the roundabout. The car parking is free and CCTV has been provided. Tickets cost £2 for the car driver and up to 4 passengers. Please give the driver the exact fare for your journey if at all possible. Buses run every 10-12 minutes in both directions. Stay on the bus till it reaches it final destination. On departing the bus, turn right towards the traffic lights in the direction the bus is facing. Turn left at the end of the road at the traffic lights by LK Bennett Shoe Shop. Forum for the Future is on the row of the buildings on your left as you walk up the road. The bus will also depart from this stop.
